The Power Within: A Women’s Empowerment Tea

Join us for a rejuvenating afternoon at the The Power Within: A Women’s Empowerment Tea, hosted by the Saginaw Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. This uplifting event combines the elegance of a tea party with meaningful conversations about women’s health and empowerment.

The program will feature a heartfelt book discussion of Unparalleled Resilience by Tamara Bond and contributing authors Valissa Pierrelouis, Rosalyn Green Miller, and Veronica  Andreson, along with an enlightening talk on women’s heart health led by Dr. Rosalyn Green-Miller. Together, we’ll sip tea, share wisdom, and empower one another in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Indulge in an afternoon of community, wellness, and empowerment at the historic Castle Museum of Saginaw County History.

This event celebrates the richness of African American culture and spirituality through various forms of artistic worship, including song, dance, mime, poetry, spoken word, instrumental performances, and visual art.

Through this captivating showcase, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the intersection of spirituality, art, and Black history. Let’s come together to honor our faith, freedom, and heritage in a powerful and moving way.
